Bac Ha – Can Cau Market (Sapa)

The markets in the Northern Vietnam are always the colorful meeting places for the hill tribes. Minority people come down from the mountains to sell their products, or just for catching up on the latest news, gossip, drinking away troubles or seeking for lover.
TOUR ITINERARY :
Day 1: Thursday: Ha Noi – Lao Cai
+Guide picks up to train station
Car will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Hanoi train station to catch the overnight train soft sleeper with AC to Lao Cai station. Overnight on the train.
Day 2: Friday: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Soft Trek
Arrive in tsapa village, sapa rice, sapa tourhe early morning in the border town of Lao Cai where it’s a short transfer to Sapa. In the terraced hills and mountains of this area, the monotony of the expansive green landscape is enlivened by the colours of its hill tribe population. It is here you will find hands stained with colour from fabric dyes and shades of blue, red and green intricately embroidered and stitched into jackets, waistcoats, pants, skirts, caps, purses and leggings.
Take a morning walking tour of Sapa for a visit to the busy market where Red Dao, Black & Flower H’Mong, Tay and other ethnic minority people converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their silverware and handicrafts, and to buy provisions. Afterwards, take a light trek to discover Sapa’s quaint hill tribe villages. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Saturday: Sapa – Can Cau – Bac Ha
Start early in the morning at 6am, driving to Can Cau market, which passing Bac Ha Town. The road between Bac Ha and Can Cau is hilly but very beautiful. The products at the market are interesting, and many different groups of ethic minority people represent make the market an unforgettable experience. Back to Bac Ha for lunch. Check-in at a hotel in Bac Ha. After a rest, trekking about 5 km of mountain path to Ban Pho Villbac ha market, bac ha age – home of Flower H’Mong people, get in touch and witness their traditional life style, habit and customs. Overnight in Bac Ha.
Day 4: Sunday: Bac Ha – Lao Cai – Hanoi
After breakfast, free time to visit Bac Ha Sunday Market. After lunch, drive back to Lao Cai City. Dinner in Lao Cai and take a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Monday: Hanoi Arrival

Arrive in Hanoi early morning. Check-in at your hotel for breakfast and bathing (check-out time at noon). Finish tour.
